Download Matrox Mx.tools 3.6 Updater

The Matrox Mx.tools 3.6 Updater is provided as an update to Matrox Mx.tools 3.5 only. Therefore, in order to update to Mx.tools 3.6, you must have Mx.tools 3.5 installed on your computer. The Matrox Mx.tools 3.6 Updater will update your Mx.tools 3.5 software to version 3.6, including the Matrox WYSIWYG plug-ins for supported programs that are presently installed on your system.

Note: If you want to install Mx.tools 3.6 on a Windows Vista system, you must download and install the full Mxt.tools 3.6 DVD content

1. Download the following file: RTX2_36Updater.zip (46.4 MB).
   
   Internet Explorer users: When server traffic is heavy, you may be prompted to enter your user name and password to connect to the Matrox FTP server. This indicates that the maximum connection limit to the server has been reached. If this happens, click Cancel in the displayed dialog box, and then try the download again later.
2. Run WinZip to extract the contents of the downloaded file to a folder of your choice on your hard drive (make sure that the "Use folder names" option is selected).
3. Double-click the extracted Rtx2Updater.exe file to run it.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions. When prompted, make sure you choose to re-install the Matrox WYSIWYG plug-in for all programs that have a "Re-install" check box.

Note: If you later need to install additional Matrox WYSIWYG plug-ins, you can run the .exe file provided in the WYSIWYG Plug-ins folder.
