To: All Matrox Corona and Matrox Corona-LC customers

All Corona and Corona-LC customers should have already received an end-of-life-notice advising them that Matrox Imaging is no longer accepting orders for these frame grabbers. Two key components on the Corona product family have been discontinued and we are no longer able to procure them. As a result, Matrox had no choice but to retire the Corona product family. We will, however, continue to support all registered Corona customers and offer repair services for all Corona boards.

In light of this fact, Matrox is encouraging Corona customers to migrate to the lower-cost but functionally equivalent combination of Meteor-II/Multi-Channel and/or Meteor-II/Digital frame grabbers with the appropriate Matrox graphics board. Corona users requiring a single slot solution are encouraged to migrate to the Corona-II frame grabber while users of Corona-LC should be migrate to the lower-cost but functionally equivalent Orion.
